hance-parkA zip line, amphitheater, and splash-pad could all soon be added to the downtown Phoenix skyline as officials announced their $100 million master plan for enhancing Hance Park and making the city more attractive to a younger population.

“This should be our iconic park, it’s 32 acres, ideally located in the center of downtown,” said Tim Sprague, the president of the Hance Park Conservancy.

The master plan has been approved so far, and Sprague said he would like to see construction begin in the next 18 to 24 months.
