Vertical Axcess, a Petzl Technical Partner, will be offering a two-day intensive Competent Person
Rope access training with Vertical Axcess.
Training, which will include the Petzl PPE Inspection for Work at Height Equipment and Personal Fall Protection Equipment training. The course will take place in Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 6-7, 2017.
The Petzl PPE Work at Height Equipment – Competent Person Training will teach attendees to competently examine work-at-height PPE using the Petzl protocol, and to create an effective PPE management system. Attendees will be provided with information on the legal and regulatory aspects of periodic inspection of PPE for protection against falls from height, and gain knowledge of the responsibilities of directors, health and safety managers, and persons responsible for management, inspection, or training in the use of PPE for protection against falls from height.
In Fall Protection Training, attendees will learn to identify hazards, inspect, test, and use fall protection systems and protective equipment. The participants will have a clear understanding of the necessity of 100 percent connection, 100 percent of the time to a proper attachment point.
