Owner Albert Barbusci, who won a bid with the county in early January for the park, will pay $1,000 per month for the term of the lease. County commissioners questioned the low lease payment as the previous owner had reportedly paid four times that amount. County Business Coordinator Valeria Pianta said the hope for the lower lease payment, at least in the short term, would allow the business to bring people on board and start marketing.
