Ropes Courses, Inc., in partnership with Gebal Group WLL, recently supervised the installation of a custom Sky Trail ropes course at the Naufar Rehabilitation and Wellness Centre in Doha, Qatar.
The 4004 sq. ft. customized Sky Trail has 15 columns and is suspended from the ceiling, roughly 25 above the facility’s gymnasium, allowing use of the gymnasium space simultaneously with the ropes course. Participants will make their way through 30 elements. Elements include deep burma buckets, a zig zag beam, kelp walk, and lily pad rope bridge. Participants enter and exit the course using a ladder equipped with a TRUEblue belay device, and can choose to exit via a QUICKJump free fall. Climbers can choose their own journey and venture through whichever elements they feel most comfortable on.
Naufar is a wellness center for the treatment of behavioral and substance abuse disorders. The state-of-the-art facility houses 127 residential rooms and more than 50 individual and group treatment/therapy rooms. In addition to the ropes course, residents have access to a spa, gym, restaurants, and café.
