Outdoor Ventures Exits Client Builds, Focuses on Own Parks

Outdoor Ventures logoThe Outdoor Venture Group is exiting the client build business to focus on its own chain of parks. It will no longer design or build adventure parks or related adventure structures for other companies.

Outdoor Ventures was formed in 2008 to bring the Swiss-style aerial forest adventure park to the U.S. To date, Outdoor Ventures has built 25 across the country.

“The past eight years have been absolutely amazing,” said Bahman Azarm, CEO of Outdoor Ventures. “We first entered the business with the intention of just building a single adventure park, which we completed in 2009. It was the first of its kind in the nation, and was so successful that we knew we were onto a great thing. We decided to build more of them—some of which we built and operate ourselves, and some of which we built for clients.

“The time has come for us to focus on placing our full attention on the parks we build and operate ourselves. We want the Adventure Parks of Outdoor Ventures to continue to innovate and set the standard for this evolving industry.”

Plans are already in the works to expand the chain of Outdoor Ventures-operated parks in 2017 and beyond.
