Head Rush Technologies recently introduced the new QUICKJump XS. With a minimum mounted height of just 15 feet (4.5 meters), the XS brings the free fall experience to facilities that may have height limitations, or would like a free fall device that is more kid-oriented.

Outdoor Ventures welcomed Micah Salazar as its new director of operations. A veteran of the industry, Micah was most recently senior business development manager with Head Rush Technologies.

Awards

KristallTurm was honored with the IAPA (International Adventure Park Association) award for “Best Project.” The award was given to KristallTurm for its Nashville, Tenn., installation of the SOAR Adventure Tower. The tower is the first European adventure park built in the U.S. that meets and exceeds all U.S. standards and inspections. It is a self-standing aerial adventure park with 110 elements/games.

The Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) honored operators and vendors at its annual conference in Lost Pines, Texas, with the 3rd annual ACCT Awards.
