Georgia Seeking Bids to Operate Zip Lines at State Parks

0

George-Dep-Natural-ResourcesThe Georgia Department of Natural Resources plans to install zip line courses at nine state parks.

Officials say they are looking for a company interested in managing the daily operations and maintaining the zip courses. Interested organizations will submit a bid to the state this summer. Georgia will get a cut of the gross receipts once the zip lines are up and running. More details on the nature of the zip courses will be available after the company has been selected.

State officials hope the added attraction will lure visitors and encourage them to spend more time in the state parks.
