Zoo Atlanta visitors can now climb like the tree-dwelling animals they came to see. The new Treetop Trail, designed by Ropes Courses, Inc., is a seven pole, two level,
Sky Trail Navigator with a 69-foot-long Sky Rail zip line.
Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and the Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority, the attraction features 22 different course elements including rope ladders, bridges, nets, and tightrope-style foot lines.
“Treetop Trail will not only give visitors a new appreciation for the amazing skills and adaptations of tree-dwelling animals, but will also introduce a new opportunity to highlight the fact that Zoo Atlanta is a destination for all ages,” said Zoo president and CEO Raymond B. King.
