Big Bear Snow Play, a winter tubing park at Big Bear Lake in southern California’s San Bernardino Mountains, is wrapping up construction on a Sky Trail aerial adventure course. The Sky Trail, which is scheduled to open next week, will operate year-round, and complement the snow park’s winter tubing and summer go-kart activities.

Children are an important part of your audience, and they require a greater duty of care. Make sure you know what’s needed.
The nine-pole Sky Trail, built by Ropes Courses Incorporated, offers more than 30 elements, such as cargo nets, bridges, and swinging steps, spread across two levels. RCI also incorporated a “Walk the Plank” element in the overall design. The six-inch-wide beam extends six feet out from the course structure, providing the more daring participants an opportunity to make their way out without the support of handrails, to wave to friends and family below. The course also features an integrated 80-foot curved Sky Rail.
“This attraction will not only keep our guests entertained and challenged, but it will also allow our facility to diversify its outdoor offerings by providing all-season recreation for the whole family,” said Scott Voigt, director of operations for Big Bear Snow Play.
