Adventure Park Insider — February 1, 2015 — Ropes Park Equipment introduces four new products for 2015. First up is the Quick II Harness, a lightweight, full-body harness that slips on easily, much like a jacket, and is simple to adjust. The Harness includes a gear loop, safety buckle front strap, and extra back carabiner attachment point for guest evac. The industrial nylon webbing is rated at 5000 lbs., with buckles, fully-adjustable chest strap, and two front loops that act as a central connecting point. The MARK Elephant Hub is a mechanical device used to raise and lower participants primarily in assists. It takes only one hand for a staff member to raise or lower a 300-pound guest. The device also features a self-regulating, redundant brake to limit lowering speed to .8 meters per second. The Mad Dog Self Retracting Lanyard (SRL) is load tested from 30 to 300 pounds. The lightweight SRL has an aluminum and stainless steel outer casing with all stainless steel interior parts and a 30-foot wire rope and swivel mounting ring. Finally, the Zip Evo Trolley features an integrated connector and eliminates the possibility of side load with a built-in carabiner.
