Aerial Adventure Academy Certification Course

Aerial Adventure Academy will be offering a certification course for aerial adventure trainers March 1-4, 2016 at The Adventure Park at Virginia Aquarium.

“As adventure courses become ever more popular in North America, the industry must remain pro-active in developing advanced training systems to maximize safety and minimize the possibility of injuries before they happen.”

The Monitor Trainer (MT) course is designed for experienced aerial staff and supervisors who will be responsible for training employees at their home adventure courses.

Individuals interested in participating in the course:

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • hold a current certification as a Monitor Level 2 (M2) or have equivalent high ropes course experience
  • have a minimum of two years and 800 hours of professional experience as a certified M2, or have equivalent high ropes course experience
  • possess the ability to train and assess others in categories M1-M2
  • must commit to at least eight hours of continuing education annually to maintain the MT designation
