The 26th Annual Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) Conference will take place Jan. 28-31, 2016 at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Austin, Texas. Event organizers say registration is very strong this year, with nearly 900 attendees signed up as of Jan. 11. Online registration is still open, and will remain open on-site during the event for the general conference, as well as pre- and post-conference workshops. Walk-ins are welcome.

The event, themed “Deep in the Heart of ACCT,” will kick off on Thursday evening with a keynote address by Pete Nelson from Animal Planet’s Treehouse Masters. Nelson will also be available at the ACCT booth following his presentation.

Workshop sessions and the trade show exhibition will dominate the schedule on Friday. The broad variety of sessions will cover topics such as “Designing a Profitable Zip Line Tour” and “High Ropes Rescue: Are You Ready?” The exhibition, open Thursday night through Saturday afternoon, will feature many of the industry’s top manufacturers and suppliers.

On Friday night, it’s time for attendees to let loose at the “ACCT Hoedown.” After the Hoedown, there will be shuttles to and from Austin between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Saturday will feature additional workshop sessions as well as the ACCT Olympics, with team registration open in advance until the day of. The conference will conclude Saturday evening at the closing reception and awards ceremony, which is open to all registered attendees. Everyone is invited to participate in open mic night following the closing reception.
