A zip line guide fell to her death Sunday in the Camuy region of Puerto Rico. According to reports, the guide was sending a guest from the start platform of the zip line, which zips participants out over a sinkhole 450 feet deep and nearly 700 feet wide. While assisting the guest, the guide, who was apparently not wearing PPE, fell from the platform and into the sinkhole.
The zip line operation is closed at this time while an investigation is underway.
