Indoor/Outdoor Park Opens in New York

Spins Hudson, a 40,000-square-foot family entertainment center in Peekskill, New York, is now home to an indoor/outdoor aerial ropes course.

The indoor/outdoor ropes course at Spins Hudson.

Custom designed by KristallTurm, the course was designed to combat the New York winters and provide year-round opportunities for Spins Hudson. The tower is spread across two levels indoors, expanding outdoors to four levels. The triangular platform on the top level takes advantage of views of the Hudson River. Complete with 70 features, the indoor and outdoor towers are linked by zip line elements, giving climbers the option to stay indoors or enjoy the sunshine. On less than favorable weather days, a roller door closes and isolates the indoor park from bad weather.

The installation is part of the larger family entertainment center, which overlooks a marina on the Hudson River. The center includes two stories of laser tag, bowling, a dining and event space, and satellite brewery.
