Fairfax County Parks Calls for Proposals to Build Aerial Adventure Course

0

The Fairfax County Parks Department in Virginia is currently seeking proposals from contractors interested in developing and operating a pay-to-play high ropes adventure course at South Run Park in the town of Springfield. This would be the county’s first high ropes course. County officials will develop a revenue-share agreement with the operator for the term of the contract.

“We are excited to be able to offer this new outdoor adventure activity and look forward to continuing to provide new ways to enjoy our natural resources,” says FCPA park services division director Barbara Nugent. “We want to get people out into the trees.”

A pre-proposal conference will take place on January 6 for interested parties. Proposals are due on January 22.
