Registration is now open for the next Aerial Adventure Academy Train the Trainer course, being held April 10 – 13, 2018, at The Adventure Park at Discovery Museum in Bridgeport, Ct.

This training is designed for qualified staff and supervisors that will be responsible for employee training at their own adventure course.

The training will focus on the soft skills that prepare participants to train their employees at the different monitor levels, and officially designate their employees for the Monitor 1 (M1) and Monitor 2 (M2) positions. Individuals who pass all qualification requirements will be awarded a Monitor Trainer (MT) designation.

Pre-requisites of a Monitor Trainer:

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • current M2 certification (or equivalent high ropes course experience)
  • minimum of two years and 800 hours of professional experience as a certified M2 (or equivalent high ropes course experience)
  • the ability to train and assess others in categories M1 and M2

The course costs $944 per person, and includes four days of training, testing, and lunch each day. Attendees are responsible for coordinating lodging and travel. Airport and hotel suggestions will be provided. April 9 will be an equipment day for participants who wish to familiarize themselves with the specific equipment used during training. The cost for the additional equipment day is $175 per person.
