Mother Lode River Center added a zip line to its offerings this summer.

“It’s amazing to see how much confidence kids get, and adults too, after soaring through the trees on a zip line,” said general manager Scotty Scheu. “Folks who were not sure about going whitewater rafting come off the zip line confident, pumped up, and ready for more adventure. Then they have a great time on the river too!”

The zip line can accommodate up to 20 riders per hour. Guests can take part in the zip line as a standalone activity or as part of a half- or full-day package, which can include Mother Lode’s other offerings including high and low challenge elements, whitewater rafting, and riverside camping.
