The Gravityz Opening in Malaysia

The Gravityz is at a height of 239 meters above the ground

The Gravityz will reportedly be staking claim to the title of highest aerial adventure park in a city center. The installation, developed by AGC Outdoor Sports, is located where one would typically find a skywalk or a viewing platform—on the exterior of the 65th floor of the Komtar Penang building in Georgetown-Penang, Malaysia.

The attraction features a single course with six elements, a confident path, great bridge, Z-wire, G-rocky, high bench, and X-point—239 meters above the ground.

“The most challenge obstacle is the zip line, which is the fifth obstacle [sic],” said founder and CEO J Hong Low at a press conference on Jan. 27. “The entire experience will take an hour, which will comprise briefings for the participants, the wearing of gear, and the course challenge itself.”

The $1 million installation features a double safety line, one for participants and one for instructors and rescue guides. The Saferoller continuous belay system was provided by Kanopeo GmbH of Switzerland.
