Bradd Morse, founder of Canopy Tours Inc., was awarded a 2016 Sustainable Cities and Human Settlements award at the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development in Quito, Ecuador.
The worldwide prize is awarded annually by the Global Forum on Human Settlements, with support from the United Nations Environmental Programme. The award recognizes Morse and New York Zipline Adventures at Hunter Mountain, designed and built by Canopy Tours Inc. in 2010, in the “Scenic Spot with a Low Carbon Footprint” category.
Morse has been promoting environmentally and socially conscientious adventure tourism across the globe for three decades. Canopy Tours Inc. helps install sustainable zip line courses and canopy walkways, and also provides consulting services for an even broader array of ecotourism ventures.
