The Adventure Trainer’s Lab is an advanced-level conference that offers professional development and continuing education opportunities to trainers working in the “traditional use” and “amusement device” fields of challenge course, zip line, canopy tour, adventure park, experiential education, and adventure therapy.
This three-day gathering is designed to positively influence the safety, efficacy, and sustainability of the adventure and experiential fields by supporting the development and evolution of trainers. Leahy & Associates, Inc., has taken best practices from its 25 years of industry experience and combined the predictability of a traditional conference style with the dynamic and responsive nature of “Open Space Technology” to create an environment of learning and growth.
Those invited to attend the event include those working toward, or who currently meet, ACCT guidelines for a Qualified Course Professional, Certified Trainer/Tester, those who currently have or are pursuing an advanced degree in education or training, and those who provide products, services, or training to trainers and/or facilitators.
