Inspector certification exams and prep courses will be offered this January as part of the 2016 Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) Annual International Conference and Exposition Jan. 28-31, 2016 in Lost Pines, Texas, as well as at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg in Grantville, Pa., Nov. 3-5.
ACCT recently established its Inspector Certification Program that officials say was designed to address North American regulatory demands. “An increasing number of state regulatory agencies are recognizing the ACCT certified inspector program for quality assurance,” said Joyce Weaver, administrative assistant of ACCT’s operations team.
ACCT offers two levels of inspector certification, Level 1 and Level 2, for both in-house inspectors and professional, third-party inspectors. The Supervisor Endorsement is also available for both categories of inspectors.
In addition to experience requirements for testing, ACCT also offers a one-day prep course taught by ACCT staff and assisted by members of the ACCT Inspector Certification Exam Committee.
At the annual conference, the Inspector Certification Prep Course will be offered Jan. 28; the certification exams follow on Jan. 31. Additional information regarding eligibility requirements, dates and registration details are available at www.acctcertifications.com.
Weaver said the certification exams will always be offered at least once a year, at the Annual International ACCT Conference and Exposition. Other testing opportunities are posted on the website (and in Adventure Park Insider) as details become available.
