Vertical Axcess—a Petzl Technical Partner—will be offering two training courses for work-at-height professionals: Petzl Inspection of PPE for Work at Height Competent Person, and SPRAT Rope Access Training Level 1 – Level 2. The Petzl PPE course will take place March 20-21. The SPRAT Rope Access Training will run March 26-30. Both courses will take place in Knoxville, Tenn.
The PPE Inspection course will help attendees learn to competently examine work-at-height PPE using the Petzl protocol and to create an effective PPE management system. Attendees will gain knowledge about the responsibilities of directors, health & safety managers, inspection, and training in the use of PPE.
The SPRAT Rope Access Training will help participants obtain the SPRAT certification. The SPRAT certification process is intended to establish a minimum baseline of knowledge and skill directly related to industrial rope access. Level 1 technicians include rope access workers. Level 2 technicians include rope access lead technicians.
