A huge new indoor indoor play center, Jungle Adventure Play, will open in North Lakes, Queensland, Australia, next year, complete with climbing walls, a high ropes course, indoor playgrounds, free fall platforms, a ninja course, mini golf course, café, and licensed restaurant and bar. Floor area for the $20 million AUD ($14 million USD) facility covers 3,805 sqm (about 41,000 sq. ft.), with 2,428 sqm on the main floor and 1,377 sqm on the second level.

The facility will be the company’s second, and largest; the first is in nearby Tingalpa and opened in 2021. Both are in the Brisbane metro area.

The owner of Jungle Adventure Play, Lachlan Walker, stated, “We identified Moreton Bay as a major growth region managed by a business-friendly Council, and chose North Lakes due to its strong family demographic, which aligned with our company’s core values. As a family-owned and operated business, we know how important it is to connect and grow with the community.”

Construction will begin this year and is expected to be finished in 2024. Peter Flannery, the mayor of Moreton Bay Region, estimates the project will create 100 jobs and $5.6 million AUD ($4 million USD) in local economic activity each year by its third year of operation.
