Dubai Holdings has opened a new adventure park in its Hatta Resorts property, located in Hatta, high in the Hajar Mountains about 80 miles east of the city. Dubai is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, with approximately 3.3 million residents.

The new aerial adventure park, an expansion of a ropes course and zip line added to the property in 2022, will reportedly feature a 10-pole ropes course with 66 elements, according to a post on Dubai Holding’s X (formerly Twitter) account. Other new activities include a free fall, giant swing, 45-degree zip line, big airbag drop, and more. In addition, a ground-level area will offer 30- to 45-minute experiences that cater to children aged 3 to 6.

The adventure park, located in the Wadi Hub area of the property, can accommodate 75 visitors at a time, and Hatta Resorts is typically open from October through April, temperatures permitting. The multi-faceted property saw 1.25 million visitors in 2021, including more than 200,000 guests from 125 countries who spent at least one night at the property, according to Dubai Holdings’ website.

Dubai Holdings is the personal investment portfolio of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Its Hatta Resorts is entering its sixth season, and, in addition to the new adventure park, offers mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, paragliding, and glamping.
