Der Kegel X-trem Park will be celebrating its grand opening in July 2018. The aerial adventure park, located on Belgium’s coast, features four zip lines and five challenge courses with 54 unique obstacles. The courses vary in difficulty and height, ranging from about 6.5 feet to 24.5 feet (2m to 7.5m) off the ground. The course is fitted with Kanopeo’s Saferoller Continuous Belay system, allowing climbers as young as seven years old to participate.  Der Kegel X-trem Park

The new aerial adventure elements add to the parks existing activities, which include karting, laser tag, bowling, mini golf, and an escape room.

“The most challenging part was getting everything to De Kegel X-trem park in Middelkerke. Big machines, long poles, huge nets, and a lot of wood had to find its way through the super narrow roads with 90-degree bends,” said Axel Vosters, owner of course builder Mamm’out.

Mamm’out typically creates and manufactures structures at its facility and then assembles on site. This method allowed for on-site work to be completed in just 14 days.

The course was built in collaboration with Slovenian course designer, Vevrca. Der Kegel X-trem is the third project the two companies have collaborated on.
