High Ropes Opens at Whitehouse Leisure Park

Whitehouse Leisure Park, a vacation-home community on the coast of North Wales in the United Kingdom, opened a new 11-element high ropes course for residents and visitors in May.

UK-based Technical Outdoor Solutions, which provides ropes course construction, training, and consulting, designed the new activity. Construction began March 13 and the course opened May 27.

Whitehouse Leisure Parks director Oliver Seldon told North Wales Pioneer that the ropes course has been busy since it opened. “We’re lucky; we’ve got a good team on it. They’re well-trained, and have experience of working on different parks and on high ropes courses,” he said.

Regarding the size and difficulty of the course, Seldon said, “With High Ropes, we didn’t want to make it too difficult, because we have to cater for all age groups, but some of the elements are quite tricky.”

High Ropes has created four jobs at the park.
