Checkfront and Rezdy, providers of online booking and reservation management systems for the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries, confirmed a merger deal for an undisclosed amount on June 15. The news, reportedly one of the biggest tours and activities tech deals to date, was recently reported by Arival, an in-destination travel think-tank and conference operator.

The move will bring the two businesses together to bring more features to market and develop improved customer support and service solutions.

Rezdy CEO Chris Atkin and Checkfront CEO Jason Morehouse confirmed to Arival that both businesses will continue to operate as their own brands and that there are no plans to combine the brands in the future. Details of how the overall business will be structured have yet to be shared.

The recent merger will be a topic of discussion at the upcoming Arival conference in Orlando. Checkfront and Rezdy are both confirmed to attend. More information about the conference can be found here
