Bahman Azarm, president of Outdoor Ventures, has been re-elected by the general membership to the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) board of directors for a second term.
Azarm has been president of Outdoor Ventures since 2008. In his board application, Azarm stated that he is passionate about introducing as many people to outdoor climbing in the safest manner possible, and that improving safety on both the operational side and the equipment side is paramount to building public confidence in the industry.
The association’s Professional Vendor Members (PVMs) will vote to fill the remaining two seats being vacated by outgoing chair Ben Kopp, Signature Research; and treasurer Carson Rivers, Challenge Towers. Elections for those two positions will be held in person, using a paper ballot during the ACCT Annual General Meeting on Friday, Feb. 7, in Raleigh, N.C.
