The Redwood Sky Walk in Eureka, Calif., earned the top spot in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice poll for best aerial adventure park. ZipZone Outdoor Adventures in Columbus, Ohio, was the runner up, with Hocking Hills Canopy Tours in Rockbridge, Ohio, rounding out the top three.
Designed by Greenway Partners and built by Synergo, Redwood Sky Walk is a network of bridges located in Sequoia Park Zoo, suspended as high as 100 feet in the air, with platforms that encircle old growth and mature second growth redwood trees. The walk spans a total distance of 1,090 linear feet.

This most recent accolade for the California park is not the only award the park has received, as Adventure Park Insider recently reported on the engineering award the park received from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon. The Sky Walk has also been listed in the Architectural Digest list of the 11 Most Beautiful Elevated Walkways Through Nature.
