Adventure Park Insider Magazine—Buena Vista del Rincón, Costa Rica, Aug. 15, 2024—Latin American and Caribbean aerial adventure practitioners will gather in Costa Rica for the second annual Programa de Capacitación Aire Libre (PCAL), Sept. 9-14, for a week of education and certification opportunities.

This international training event was founded by Dr. Luis D. Acevedo, director of Aire Libre Internacional—a San Juan, Puerto Rico-based firm that provides a variety of products and services including adventure park design and construction, inspections, training, certifications, and equipment supply—to offer both a hands-on and classroom education experience for adventure park personnel.

The schedule includes multi-day courses in adventure park management strategies, marketing and social media, in-house adventure park inspector and instructor training, adventure park maintenance and technician training, as well as the ACCT certification courses for in-house and professional inspectors.

Several internationally recognized professionals and trainers will be on-hand delivering the trainings and certifications, including Acevedo and Daniel Venegas Mejias from Aire Libre Internacional, ACCT’s Heather Brooks, Niels Damman, Brenda Reed, Paul Hancock, and Jonathan Lumb representing The Alliance Collective, Liliana Hoyos Hernandez with Nkali Group S.A.S., and Cesar Alcazar Ayala of Grupo Xcaret.

All courses will be delivered in either English or Spanish, and PCAL utilizes translation services for those who need it.

Registration is still open for the event. For more details about the program, travel info, or to register, go HERE.
