Adventure Park Insider — February 1, 2015 — Australia’s Ecoline premiered its new tree-based roller coaster zip line, the EcoZip, in late 2014. The EcoZip system utilizes custom-designed pipes suspended from trees along with Ecoline’s patented pulley design to create the twisting, swooping, and flying sensation of riding a roller coaster through the forest. EcoZip has been in development for two years and is now being used in the world’s longest rollercoaster zip line, the kilometer-long Crazy Rider, near Sydney. ecoline.com.au
