The requirements to participate and complete this level 2 certification are as follows:
– Must be at least 18 years old;
– completed a level 1 certification;
– completed training portfolio documenting at least 200 hours of facilitation experience as a level 1 facilitator;

This level 2 training offers advanced technical skills for facilitating low, high, and specialty challenge course elements. The course will deep dive the soft skills of facilitation, focusing on key social and emotional practices that engage and motivate participants. Through the practice of identifying and meeting motivational needs, participants begin to operate at the learning edge and in turn maximize the outcomes of both individual and group experiences on the challenge course.

The training will include aspects of advanced challenge course facilitation, programming, operations, risk management, and rescue procedures. The course is not intended to prepare participants to train others, but it will prepare them to observe and mentor other facilitators.

There will be presentation, discussion, experiential components, and participation on the challenge course. Cost is $700. Email [email protected] for more information or to register.
