Job Description – Adventure Park Manager
Edge Adventure Park Managers are part of the management team and are provided with training and growth opportunities. The parks are seasonal operations and generally operate from April - November. This position(s) is an 8-month position from mid-March through mid-November. Opportunity for off-season or extended employment will be contingent on performance, and Edge Adventures’ additional growth.

Minimum Requirements Preferred extended education of BA or BS degree or minimum of 3 years of supervision experience
Demonstrated ability with staff hiring, training, coaching and general management
Excellent communication skills. This position requires a professional demeanor and a strong orientation towards customer service
Demonstrated independent decision-making skills
A keen attention to detail in the areas of safety and customer experience
Comfortable with working outdoors (different weather conditions), climbing and traversing aerial courses at heights above 60 ft & performing 1st response emergency tasks as required
Ability to work on-call hours, weekends, evenings and holiday shifts – Park Manager is the primary point of contact for all daily operational needs every day throughout the season.
Computer proficient in word, excel, email platforms, and similar.
CPR, First Aid/AED Certification, and Aerial Park training provided by Edge Adventures.
Essential Work Responsibilities: The daily management of an Edge Adventure Aerial park
Embrace the cultural values of Edge and adhere to and enforce operational procedures
Act with integrity and honesty in all interactions with supervisors and staff
Managers must be flexible and have a strong ability to prioritize tasks to maximize success.
Update and inventory all merchandise, equipment and supplies and order in timely fashion.
Recruit qualified team members, provide training, implement supervision standards, develop staff, & adhere to discipline procedures.
Create staffing schedules in a timely manner, and conduct ongoing training
Lead staff to prepare guests and have them acknowledge all safety concerns and assist them with waivers, outfitting gear, safety demonstrations and aerial park use
Develop direct relationships and fully embrace the community that you serve. Become the local face of Edge Adventure Parks in the community.
Conduct business development activities including daily sales, group sales, event scheduling and programming pushes to drive sales.
Ensure all Park elements are used, inspected, and maintained within industry standards.
Maintain all Edge documents and operational reports; including risk management tools
Banking and cash management as per company procedures
Ensure daily reports and inspections are completed in a timely manner
Manage facility cleanliness – trash removal, bathrooms, park litter



Working Conditions and Physical Abilities
This position requires an individual to be in good general health
Capable of working on your feet for up to 12 consecutive hours and lifting at least 50 lbs
While performing the duties of this job, you must be able to sit, walk, run, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, traverse aerial bridges / obstacles, zip line and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; lift/move heavy weights, reach with hands and arms; speak, hear and see.
Work is in an outdoor wooded environment
Emergency, rescue or first aid situations, among others, may be physically taxing, psychologically taxing, and stressful

Compensation
Base salary of $40k equivalent. $1538 bi-weekly for 8 months. Plus monthly performance incentives. Edge Adventures reserves the option to extend contract past 8 months based on performance
